Trying them all
I know the 025 and 026 are different saws but my 026 uses an 18" bar with .325 pitch .063 gauge chain. My 039 uses .375 pitch with .050 gauge. The gauge and number of drive links should be on the bar.

Which brings up a good question...
Why is it on the smaller saws, 025, that an 18 inch bar is actually only 16 inches of cutting length??? But on the bigger saws, my 310, a 20 inch bar actually gives you 20 inches of cutting length??? Why not standardize across the board???

Normally Bailey'sWhat are the do's and don'ts of ordering loops online?
For example, Stihl 025 with an 18" bar, .325 chain, 68 drive teeth. And want a full chiesel.
Where's the best place to buy? Who has the best price? AS Sponsors?
How do you make sure you get the right chain?
Thanks,
Chris
