Hello, currently working on an old Remington sl-9. I found that the saw wasn’t picking up fuel, on closer inspection I found the carb has no actual fuel hose connection and the carb is mounted to the saw with the fuel inlet on the carb lined up with the gas tank outlet hole. The carb is a tillitson hs 107b my question is how can I pressure test this carb since there is no barbed connection for a hose?

Same design as the Stihl 045/056 series HS carbs, you can either pull the carb off & use the pressure tester’s kit pointed rubber tip stuffed into the carb face inlet hole; or snag the fuel line in the tank, pull the filter off & test it through the hose end.

Should hold 8 psi all day long.
