yeah S. Florida. we've gotten reallly slow lately. kinda like all the homoeowners already prepared for the season PLUS an oversaturation of new tree companies. we've been fighting over palm trimmings which are a real headache for the money.

i'm hoping it hits anywhere but S. Florida because it will totally kill our real estate prices.
but i already told the wife that i will be gone for awhile if it hits any city in the U.S.

If it hits us here in central fl again I can't see how there will be much to clean up. Most of the trees still haven't recovered, so there isn't much left to lose. Just clumps of little shoots sprouting out at the ends of what hacked off branches were left. Can't imagine that they'd catch enough wind to bust up the trees any more.

Maybe you guys will get licky and it'll hit Jacksonville or something. They have lots of money there.

yup a crow bar and some college kids. keep us posted of when your convoy heads out inovator:popcorn:

i just loaded up on gas, cleaned out all the Home Depot Y52 chains and brown rope. called every former employee and told them my *special* hurricane pay rate.

on the downside, every lawn jockey in town is buying a chainsaw and going into tree biz overnight. we are way too saturated down here. almost not worthwhile.

Seems the seasonhas started alot later this year. If memory serves we were about 1/4 of the way through the ABCs this time last. Im not getting my hopes up but keeping an opean mind. Personaly Im waiting for the trop storms to start rolling off. When there is steady progression from tstorm to Hcane then you know when its time to go. :sword:

Storm damage is radical. Once I had one groundman holding 5 ropes @ 200lbs each. All that is high wind just makes a big puzzle, secure it all then fly on it and cut the puzzle apart.
