Cycle time is real slow 30 sec with no load,have changed a few hoses that the previous owner used heater hose on.
new filter,new pump,also new hydrilic oil. anyone familiar with this splitter that would have and idea what could be the problem ?? btw it splits
wood no problem even the knotty stuff. thanks in advance!

My first educated guess is you have an obstruction. Start by doing the cheap stuff first, unhooking everything and checking flow and/or blowing it out. If nothing helps there, you may have an internal problem in the cylinder. Not so cheap there.
