I am sure you can get aftermarket piston and cylinder kits for the 257, but really if you want to have fun get a 262xp piston and cylinder and hold on!
You may need a different spacer block between the carb and cylinder but the rest should be the same.
This should make your saw about 1hp more and is well worth doing.
Leave the 257 recoil cover on it and surprise your friends.
Put a 262 top end on it, you will think you just put a turbo charger on that little saw. Pretty cheap from Baileys.
