So I got the new parts yesterday. We started tearing it apart today and cleaned it up. I got motoseal for sealing the cylinder adapter to the case. While cleaning everything up one of those spacer things came off the bearing, I put some motobond underneath it to hold it in place and put on the adapter. It doesn’t seem to go down all the way, and I can rock the cylinder back and forth a little bit. I put the screws in through the bottom of the saw and tightened them evenly hoping to pull the adapter to the case. When I rotate the flywheel there seems to be a little resistance when the rod is at its highest point. I took it apart and redid it but seems the same. Do I need to remove the spacers on top of the bearings? If not what else could I have screwed up. Thank you for any help you can give me.
