Thanks for posting this, I found the same thing on the cir-clips the stock ones were way too loose to use in the aftermarket piston. Looks like a new saw Ron. If it cuts as good as it looks the wood won't stand a chance.

I built a 55 today, I'll post some more pics later, but I have to put this one up. I can't believe how big the windows are in the piston...wow.

It's a whole different animal on the closed transfer cylinder. Will a 55 cylinder fit on a 350?

Yea mine does VERY well in that size wood! That is the small branches I was refering too. The hickory trees I was cutting were around 20-24" at the base.I was really getting it with the 350 limbing and those thick arms of the tree. The 350 is one of my favorite firewood cutting saws. The aftermarket cylinder did take some cleaning up though before it went on. The castings were terrible.

I found some wood on craigslist and it was 4 hickory's and three big oaks I am going to get some more maybe Friday and will take some pix.

Yep its firewood. I got lucky with this find as it will put me well ahead on my stock for this next winter. Those size logs dont get split or just in half if at all. Will try and get a video but my camera aint that great.

Glad to hear it runs well. I had issues with that cylinder in a 346. The bore is bigger than the 346oe, so the piston skirt hit the crankcase at BDC. The castings were horrible, but it cleaned up pretty well. Not bad for $100. I tried the oe clips as well to no avail. Anyway, nice work and great pictorial.

Got to cut on some more hickory today with my husky's. The 350 seems to be getting pretty fast and the torque is alot better with this top end than the old one. I really tried to bury the bar hard today with it.

This was in a different tree and the chain was a bit duller here:

This is the 365 I pulled the base gasket on it and put new rings in it. While I had the jug off I opened the lower transfers up quite a bit.
