Yesterday I bought a brand new 346xp NE, unfortunately my dad needed help building greenhouses so I didnt get to run it till today. This saw is wicked awesome, so much power for a little guy compared to a 260 this saw rules. It came with a 18" bar, I would like to replace it with a 16" sugi hara bar would you recomend this or a windsor speed tip. thanks

Congrats! :cheers:

I am not sure that you can get a SugiHara bar with a Small Husky mount though....?

I didnt either till I saw the thread on the snellerized 346xp, that was the tipping point after reading that thread I had to go buy a 346xp. I will probably order the bar tonight or tomorrow.

I think that dingeryote was right about 346xp buying turning into a pandemic. It must be a strong virus because it's spreading fast. I just wonder if it will mutate and become a 372xp virus and go through the ranks again.

Oh yeah by the way, congrats. :cheers:

Awesome!

It's nice to see others are realizing what a great saw the 346NE is! Had mine almost two years now and couldn't be happier.

Al :cheers:

They are great little saws and my next saw to buy, I got a OE346xpg woodsported with a NE cyl.
But would like to have the NE one with primerbulb and maybe triobrake ,,,,,
Primer is nice when the temperature is minus 15-20 degrees celsius !!

You'll love it, got one a couple of weeks ago and been working in hay so haven't got to run it much got a break tomorrow and if it don't rain, I'll be making saw dust.

Hopefully little dust and lots of chips........:greenchainsaw:

Why the trio-brake? :jawdrop::jawdrop:

Smaller risk of beeing killed and it actually helps you to handle the saw correctly with the right hand. If you don't, you will actuate the Triobrake, which is annying, so you learn not to do it. So I've heard from the forestry school nearby at least. And I think I can drink to that. Many people don't rotate their right hand to give throttle with the thumb when the saw lies on its side.
