...so I got a Husky 36 for free and It had no coil, so i threw a coil in it and it now has spark, but wont fire at all...even with a little squirt in the carb. I DID have to replace the fuel line and its tygon and i dont see it drawing the fuel up into the carb. Compression is also only 120psi...no scoring that I can see on the muff side or intake sides of the piston....Is compression really that low where it won't fire?

Before you condemn your P@C, I would check for a sheared flywheel key.. It seems as though it would at least pop when giving it a shot of go-juice in the carb, even with lower compression. But if the spark is occurring at the wrong time due to a sheared flywheel key and shifted flywheel, it may cause it to do exactly what it's doing.

I do not know the compression spec numbers on that saw...
