My brother gave me an older 61 probably from 1980 - 1985. are they all hard to start? pulling the rope is a ##### is this due to compression??

We have 8 of the 261 and266`s and they all seem to pull hard, they have 150--165 lbs compression and would be easier to turn over with a compression release. Check your compression if you can ,if it starts and runs ok it seems like that is just the way they are.
