husqvarna 142 e series

I want to get into the building of semi-hot saws. I mean as hot as you can get without a stinger pipe or anything that makes the saw not usable in the woods. I have a baby saw I want to learn with it's a husky 142 and its beat up but runs good, the goal with this saw would be learning porting, muffler and intake mods, the basics and in the end have a saw that can devour small trees. any suggestions?

Just guessing but probly gut the silencer and give a mild port job Carb swap something with adjustable h and l then get a nicer bar and chain?

Well long story short the deal on this one fell through so I'm still looking for a small saw to try and make a super light little buzzer
