Picked up a 262xp today here in New Zealand from a dealers graveyard for about $25usd.
Runs but has a major air leak. Suspect oil seals. Is complete except for choke lever which seems easy enough to find on ebay. Any one done oil seals on these? Any tricks etc? I work on saws alot so looking forward to getting into it.

These are also known to leak on the intake block, Hopefully its the newer clutch driven oil pump. The drive gear on the older version is pesky to get off.
+1 on the oil pump drive. Mine has the brass worm on the crankshaft. I warmed it up with a propane torch and gently levered it off with two lady foot prybars.
