I use my 3021xp in a Mill and have been cutting Pecan/ Cherry and white oak lately, noticing that regardless of tuning it a bit, the saw won't start back up with out holding throttle down when it gets hot after the 1st or 2nd slab cut. any body have some helpful thoughts on how to fix this ?

Check the piston through the exhaust port for a scored piston. Often times, when a 2 stroke over heats or has been ran lean, the aluminium transfer causes drag between the p&c and it makes hot starting (when everything is expanded) difficult. When it’s cold, it will start, be it a bit difficult, and as soon as it warms up it will die without constant throttle.
