Hello guy's im sorry if im posting this wrong but this weekend iam going to Belgium (om from Holland) and im going to visit a guy who sells a 3120xp with a broken coil. He sais he did install a china coil and wont run good. (Probably bad timing) he says he wont go any lower than €750 wich i think is quite expensive for a 3120xp that doens't run good and only has a 28" burnt bar on it. I will post some fotos from the saw it looks quite new to me tough.
Like to here youre toughts about this thanks in advance guys.

Here some pics, what would be a reasonable price? More like 600? A coil is about €120 for me

I agree that it’s a bit high for a saw that does not run. Too many things in question.

Is it possible to install the complete ignition from a 3120K? And only the coil or needs the flywheel to be changed to? Because the guy in going to visit also sells a beaten up 3120K that runs so maybe buying that one to would be handy.

Yesterday i bought the saw and actually paid a little to much for it. At home i tried the 55 coil on it and it dit start. (I saw a video from chainsaw guy on youtube he did install a 51 coil on the 3120 and it ran.) I did read some part manuals and saw the same part number for the 51 and 55 coil. So luckily i had a 55 woth working coil. The only thing is the saw doesnt accelerate and is getting hot very fast. Does this mean that the timing is too early? The saw also backfires (or makes this sound ) anyone an opinion on this?
