Husqvarna chain brake handles

I’m a novice so please educate me...lately I’ve looked at several used Huskys including a 154, 257 and 61 that all had missing chain brake handles and other associated parts. Did they tend to break off a lot, not work well, or wtf?? I prefer to have a chain brake, and it’s not cheap to build one back up with decent parts.

Those old metal handle flags broke a lot. Try looking at newer saws.
