Yeah, I flinched when I saw her backlog. I had the same problem for a long time after covid and I wasn't proud of it. I wouldn't let a customer or competitor see that. Is she even tracking the status of those machines? Maybe a little more time chasing parts rather than making videos.

edit: Also, I joke about this stuff, but I had to turn off the video when she was trying to start that Chinese saw. Borderline pornographic. Total lack of self-awareness or desperate for attention. Not sure which.

Wrong on all counts as far as battery saws. I have a cheap Chinese little one that comes in handy for little jobs, small trees blown over, limbs down and the like. Saves me the nuisance of gassing up and starting a saw for jobs that can be over in the time it takes to do that. I can keep it in the house or my truck in the winter, so I don't have to go out in the snow to get the saw. They are now making saws comparable to 40-50cc gas saws and there are arborists using them already. I don't think they're going to replace the big gas saws used by loggers, but I see 90% of the market for firewood cutting, landscapers etc. going battery within a decade. Pros who use a single saw for many hours at a time will likely be using gas much longer. I've been using various gas power tools for about 60 years now, and tinnitus is a constant companion. The relative quiet of the electric saw is a godsend and will save many their hearing in years to come, and yes, even with hearing protection, chain saws can do damage to your hearing in time.
