Hello am selling a very nice Husqvarna 262xp saw. I got this saw in a trade. So, the story was it was the grand dad's saw and sat on self... blah... blah...blah... yadda yadda yadda . Needless to say the saw needed a piston . So this saw was completely taken down scrubbed doctor clean and re-assembled with new skf 6202 bearings, oem ring and new piston. I couldn't find an oem piston so a pop piston from the lil red barn was used with an oem ring part# (503289015). The original cylinder was not in bad shape so it was honed with a the proper Nikasil flex hone and reused. While we were there the cylinder was mildly ported. The work is not extreme so it idles nicely and is well mannered. The base gasket was deleted to bring the squish to 0.023". The carb has a new rebuild kit line and filter. This saw starts with a couple pulls cold or hot. It preforms and cuts great. It is very snappy and is fun to cut with. If someone reading this knows of someone that machines cylinders I'm all ears because I would like to start running a touch more compression in these type of saws. Feel free to ask any questions I am happy to answer them. I have a video of this saw running if anyone would like to see it run. Thank You
I am asking $600 plus shipping. I am located in Connecticut for a shipping reference.
