This is an amazing classic Husqvarna saw. This 254xp has been rebuilt from the floor up. It has new skf 6202 bearings and seals. It has a meteor piston that has been lightened. The cylinder is factory oem. It has been ported for fire wood cutting rpm. The work is not extreme there are no boost ports. Since the porting is not extreme it idles great and starts with a couple pulls. The cases have stripped of paint. Also, they have been textured for fuel atomization and to keep the fuel in suspension. All the features work as they should including the chain brake oil pump, kill switch, and choke. It will come with a 20" .325" steel bar just because the husky dealer is about an hour from the shop. This saw runs great on pump 93 pump gas but wakes up a bit on a small engine fuel such as vp or Husqvarna. We do appreciate your business!! We really do!! We get back to people very quickly with all questions. Please zoom in and look at the pictures carefully. Feel free to asking any questions or about timing numbers or to request a video.

I'm asking 599. shipped

* work and crankcase "texturing" are hack work. Buyer beware.
Dear bwalker, I have one 353 and one 346 , that are used. There is lot of times the builders that have all their oars in the water , in tricking out chainsaws, to a step below a race saw , will not work on your saw. Do you have someone in mind I may call , I hope is in United States thanks Buck , in tarheel town.

I would contact forum member @huskihl .

Agree, porting looks a little rough. I have only done one in my life and it looked better.
I guess in the end the saw doesn't care what porting looks like, though, as long as no damage is done to the piston ring as it slides past.

All the texturing...no idea about that. Supposed to make turbulent air flow maybe?
