You have got to like those more or less seamless changes in employer. Congrats on finding something else, albeit not perhaps your first interest, ie quality tree care, is still in their same area. Hopefully there is room for some advancement, as was the case with me here. I started another job totally unrelated to the one I was hired for (someone must hve finally read my resume) with a big increase in bucks, so I guess it pays not to give in until something better comes along.
 
Froggy, it's great you have a new job. But don't loose sight of how to properly prune a tree for the sake of the tree... not for money. You have seen what those line clearing crews do to trees.
 
I started out line clearing and butchered my fair share of trees. If I was line clearing today I would do it in a whole different manner, namely the correct way, whenever I could.

Education and training is all that is needed. :)
