Might be a little high on the price, but that Lombard looks like its in nice shape. Looks like a Remington to me. Remington made saws for John Deere and Montgomery Wards in those days so who knows. I would check to see if it runs.

If its a Remington, and its running, get it. The sound of that saw will put a smile on your face, and a tingle in your hands and fillings.

Lombards of that era look EXACTLY like Homelites but to the best of my knowledge share no parts in common. I have a Comango I got from Farley9n which I need a clutch for. From what I hear, they're noisy and powerful for their size.

Really, really old saws that are inoperable, I don't pay more than $25 for. At that price, I can clean it up and set on the shelf as a decoration. Hell, my wife pays that for knick-knacks. But I guess to the right person, maybe. Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay.

Silver Plated $15,000 McCulloch CP-70, SS# 3,000,000

Thought this may be interesting to read for some of you. It is listed on CL right now, maybe someone here is looking for this 1 as there seems to be only 3, most expensive saw I've ever seen for sale.

This Chain Saw is a rare beauty. It was brought into the family when McCulloch Chain Saw manufactures stamped their 3,000,000 chain saw, in 1971. There are only three chain saws in the world like this. The manufactures made it silver plated and boxed them as usual, sending them out at random. As luck would have it one fell into our hands. This chain saw is in mint condition, as for we have no use for it anymore we are looking to sell it. We ask for only serious bidders and no spam. The number you can reach us at is 1-541-432-5680
