Gee, that`s a big tree. If wondering through the forest I would have thought I hit a wall.
In Falling Old Growth Redwood, is that oil pooring like rain ? haven`t seen that before.

That is sap, Redwoods are very wet certain times of the year. The sap will turn everything it touchs, black, it loves steel.
