Since Nickrosis mentioned his project, I figured I'd mention mine.
I lack skills to edit my website, but I wish I could put dozens of photos there in albums. For example, types of decorative rock available in our area.
The option I decided to go with, was Image Event that hosts image storage and viewing.
It's not free, but then they don't put any ads up either - made sense to me, nothings free. If I don't want ads, I should pay something.
I can just have my web master add the links on my web site to the albums - that's very inexpensive.
The hosting site is $25 for a whole year.
Unlimited band width
Up to 1500 MB
Privacy from open door, to password, to closed door
Easy to use
URL is my name and album name suffixed
This way, I can put up 100's of photos and captions relating to the industry myself, without paying hundreds or a thousand to my webmaster.
Also, I am estimating that 1/3 of our site visitors are out of state or out of country, so I'd like to add an avenue on my site to an album that displays the terrain in my region, especially the Oregon coast.
