i have a mor bark #13 i want to put awinch on this to be able to pull trees or partof trees from roadways (highways) opprox. 25 yards from road side , there is the tipical ditchs what would you is needed.
I cant find what they put on chippers normally, (#10,000 or what) is was allso thinking electric over hydrolic is would be just easier for me to mount (cost wise).
what do you guys have on your chippers and is it substanical enough .to do the work needed.
your sugestions and input would be great.

The standard hydraulic winch on a chipper is 1500 lbs. of pull. You will kill your battery in short order with an electric winch, I am talking like 3 or 4 pulls, even with the chipper motor running.

You can use spell check to check your spelling, but I excuse you if English is not your native language.
