Very nice job Lee,looks great.:cheers::cheers:

What are you going to use a for bar and chain on this?

I have a 19" hardnose and an old loop of Stihl .404 round chisel that he's gonna use on it. He's sending me a 58" roller-nose Cannon.

Awesome Job!! Can't wait to see the finished product! Nice shop too BTW.

This thread makes you want to...............

Smile like it's Christmas! I tell you what, that has to be the best paint job I've ever seen on a saw, even on a brand new one. Lee, great work. Put it under a Christmas tree and take some pictures for making Christmas cards. No joke, awesome work, good for you! Best, Max.:yourock:

Hey Leeha, erm ah well um ah I seem ,,, to the umm blather droool,

What I'm trying to say is, can you like adopt me or something, Do you need a
Saw-in-Law, um...... son in law ... should say....
That's a mighty fine project you have on the go and I told myself I was not
coming back to this thread because I just couldn't bare to see the awesome progress,
but here I am envious as all get out. Not sure what my mood is but its
like 40% jealousy 40% envy and 20% I'm happy for you, :D
These numbers are subject to change as project continues.....

Well, The big girl is done. Just waiting for decals.
I would also like to recoat the wrap handle bar as
soon as i can find a reputable company to do it.
I have it outfitted with a 10 pin 404 sprocket so i
can see how it will pull. I also have a 9 pin just in
case the 10 is a bit much. I will wait wait another
week before running to make sure the paint is cured.
Hope all have enjoyed this thread.

That thing is pretty awesome Lee. It even gets the white towel treatment. That thing is gonna be a monster with a 10pin. Are you using a Bill G adapter? You just gave me a great idea for 1 of my 2 1130's. The one will only wear a 36" bar so a 9 pin on that would make it even more of a beast then it is. :biggrinbounce2:

Got her done a few days ago but was raining.
Today was as nice a day as you can get in Nov.
So i took a few more pic's with a 42 inch bar and
404 full chisel chain on it. Running a custom 10 pin
sprocket to give me a bit more chain speed.
Just waiting for the decal kit to be made.
You see in the video it is pulling some good chips.
Seems to run excellent.
