Nope. Looks like it could be honey locust.

That chunk with the crotch in it on the bottom in the front looks like maple.

Looks quite a bit like honey locust to me.

Black has very thick furrowed bark.

It does not look at all like locust. Cut a chunk and try splitting it. Locust will split extremely easily when it is cold

Do u know what silver maple looks like? Looks like it could be from what I see. If so it burns clean, dries quicker then denser woods, usually easiar to cut and split. Burns faster then oaks but it puts out significant amount of time of heat.

I will go cut some locust tomorrow and take some pictures. There is a lot of confusion between the different species by many people

Honey Locust. And it will NOT split easily at any temperature in my experience.

The one branch at the back of the trailer says HL to me too. Bark is right too.

Around here all of our locust has an almost grass green color across the cut surface.
AND,, once it is a little dry,, only the more powerful hydraulic splitters will bust it,,

I would bet it's Honey Locust.

Some looks to be, I've cut lots of Black locust, some honey.

The piles on the left are primarily Black Locust.


When they are at my house, they are all, the Black's Locust .


Cutting a little Black Locust, easy to see the difference in the bark.

Sugar or silver maple, I have a ton in my neighborhood and on some property I own. Looks spot on for that.
