I don't know how that works out in New Zealand money, but the point is it's readily available from multiple sources. Even if you read it and realize that it's way over your head or just not something that you want to pursue, it's a pretty decent educational tool. The ISA website also has a bunch of other resources that can help you figure out what you're getting into. Also, try to find a certified arborist in your area. They may be able to give you some insight, and quite possibly have an old study guide that they may let you borrow.
