Johnsered comparable parts with Husqvarna

I have 2 saws that I am currently ordering parts for,. A jonsered cs2141, which I believe is the same as the Husqvarna 340, and I also have a jonsered 2145 turbo, is the the same saw and the Husqvarna 345?

I have a all the parts ordered already for the cs2141. I'm yet to tear down the 2145, but it do have low compression. I'm wonder if it is possible for me to put a different cylinder head and piston from a bigger bore saw, and it work, just to give it that little extra power

You can put a 2145 top on either. If you get a bearing cup you can put a 2150, or 2153 cylinder on them.

Ok,. I know this seem like a silly question, . What is the bearing cup?

It's an aluminum top to the plastic case that a traditional type cylinder bolts to.

I'll have to look it up and see if I can find a picture. It's a spare saw that I'm just playing with to see what kinda power I can get out of it

Nice! I'm wondering if the bearing cup is a part I can order online? The 2150 and 2153 what Husqvarna saws are the same as these? I can never find jonsered parts online but I can always get the huskys

350 and 346. Google "350 bearing cup". Should be able to find one easily.

The oem 346 top ends are pretty darned cheap. They make very nice power.

As far as displacement is concerned, the 346 is the biggest I think, maybe the 353. CU can probably say for sure. As far as power, the 346 has more than any of the other options.

Yes, some ok parts and some not so ok parts. Just have to weed through them or ask about a specific part.

With the price of a new oem 346 top end being what it is, it'd be kinda silly to put anything else on in my opinion.

Where are you located to be getting good prices on OEM parts? Where I am if you don't order them online your just as well of buying a new saw
