hi,was wondering if the coil from my 52E is the same as my 52.i tried putting casing off 52E onto 52,got a spark and timing was right but would not fire,i appreciate one is points and the other electronic,thanks in advance,victorroadster.

I am no expert, but suspect they don't interchange without other changes as well.

You would likely get more and better answers with a more precise heading, like Jonsereds 52 vs. 52E.....
