I'd like to trade/sell this Jonsered 2166/71 for a Husqvarna 372 OE non x-tourque
Need a little orange in my life !

This saw started as a 2166 chassis I put a OEM2171 cylinder/piston with caber rings on it with a base gasket delete .
New fuel lines and filter new seals and new sprocket and carb kit .
Haven't had this in any wood yet after rebuild ..just a quick start and it was shelved ...so it may need a carb tune and break in .
The only issues with the saw that I know of is it leaks some bar oil and the air filter has a small crack in the corner .

I'm looking for a Husqvarna 372 OE in similar condition with no major issues .
Let me know what you have if you'd be interested in trading and we can work out the details .
Thanks
Ernie

Why would you trade that saw for oe 372.The only difference is the top handle is straight and the plastic is different. But it is essentially the same saw.

I have at least a dozen oe 372s.Well to some that would be debatable, some are on 365 cases others on 371s,but now they are all 372s.All have oem 50mm cylinders new bearings, seals all new rubber.I try too make them as close to new oem as possible except muffler mods,no base gasket and opening the lower transfers up. Oh and some have after market 385 carbs (the Dukes) or 372 xtorq carbs. I also have 3 J reds 2065,2165and 2171 and they have had the same treatment.Oh one other thing some of them have new 371 cylinders (single ring) others have traditional 372 2 ring cylinders. If it's not apparent by now these are my favorite saws.

I'm gonna add the sale option on this with a price of $500 plus the ride
I'll get a video of the saw running for someone interested .

Thanks
Ernie

I almost bought that saw or talked to you, but am keeping my own saw and doing sort of what you just did to the jonsered. It's a good deal in my opinion, but I also found a 372xpw that sold on ebay for 550$ in March 2023, everyone missed it. Eugene, OR. I could drive there in 5-6 hours. I check Craigslist all the time for XPW stuff, mostly 372 XP's.
