Jonsered has a new small saw, the 2137 at 42cc. I'll be running one in the next few days to see what it's got.

It is American manufactured, but I can't say if Poulan or not till I see them side by side. Does anyone know?

Isn't Elux making some stuff in Kentucky now at the Frigidaire Home Products plant vs Shrevsport?

I had stumbled across a reference on one of Big E's sites to some Europeon market McCulloch saws being produced here at the Electrolux Home Products facility. So I guess anything is possible

i would suspect it uses the 42 cc that is pretty popular.. one thing thats confused
me  is the 40 cc versus the 42
cc powerhead. almost seems like their interchangeable. like mabe the label is the only difference. ive even seen these units with 42 cc powerhead labeled 42 cc on thesaw while the box and such have 40 cc on them. when i brought this to
poulans attention ,they were about as clear as mud.didnt seem anybody knew anything about it. the little 42 cc powerhead seems to be a pretty good motor ,itself.mine was stolen but seemed pretty fair.
