Greeting everyone, i had read your forum everyday since a month while i searching info on my rebuild project of our Vintage Jonsered 451 chainsaw. And i decide to register and participate because i found a new hobby !

My Jonny was blow up ! With only 50 psi compression... Replace everything with used parts found around the America and she work fine now! Almost....

I have a crankcase air leak that cause the saw to stall when getting hot. Also the crankshaft bearing are to be changed. They have gape a gap inside and made a tic sound when pushing the shaft with the thumb.

The question is: The original parts Number for the bearing seal and bearing are:

Seal P/N: 504146201
Bearing P/N:504230008

I don't find these parts everywhere... I'm sure it's standard parts for other saw like Husqvarna or other generic...
How can i found cross reference ?

I have found that husqvarna seal # 503260202 But i'm not able to found compatibility list...
And i don't find the bearing...

Thank you for helping!

503260202 is the correct superseded number for the 504142601 and is used on 451, 510 535 bc2236, gc2236
504230008 is correct for the bearing and is used on 49, 51, 52e and 521

Thank you... I'm still searching for the bearing... i don't find them anywhere... strange...

I found this piston: 5039073-71 as replacement for the original Piston P/N:504410004
Genuine part suitable for use with Jonsered
2145, CS2145, CS2147, chainsaw
BC2145 (45cc, 42mm) , FC2145 (45cc, 42mm) Brush Cutter

Someone know if it can fit Jonsered 451 who have 42mm bore cylinder ?

Thank you !

I don't know, but those newer saws have a slightly longer stroke (32.5mm vs. 32).

The distance from the centre of the wrist pin to the crown of the piston has to be exactly right.

Yeah if not, the piston head will hit the spark-plug... Right ?
