Mornin!
First time poster. I’ve recently started fixing saws and selling them to make a little cash. This site, and you aficionados, have been an invaluable source of information. I’ve been offered a Jonsered 630 that the owner claims just needs a carb cleaning. He wants $125 for it. If compression is good and it fires is there room to make any money? Really unsure on what it’s worth, but it looks like it’s in good shape. Any help would be much appreciated! I know how much you fellas like pictures.. so I attached a few 641C4BD4-BB5B-4F7E-B26E-8AF87D3D20BA.jpegD3A04870-37F6-4E71-ADE3-6EA9B7AD704F.jpeg2DE50C3E-94D6-4564-9129-741D950CD046.jpeg27DBA8EF-4BFA-4837-BDAC-65C87AC275BB.jpeg

It all depends what your time is worth. If that is all that it needs. Jonsereds in certain models this one included have gainded interest since Jonsered has changed to Redmax. The saw looks to be in very good condition. These saws share parts with jonsered 625,630 and 670 and husky 268,61, and 272. This is the older version of these saws. You can look on ebay and get an idea what they are selling for. These are good saws, performance wise they would take a lot of other saws lunch money. But old saws usually get less interest to the average user. You may find higher prices from someone looking for a saw like this. Good running condition theses used to be a $250-$300 saw. You maybe able to get more now and maybe less depending on where the economy goes.
