I have been searching everywere for more in depth info on these awesome saws. I was wondering what the port timing differences between the 670 jugs and say a 266 and 268xp closed port jugs. What exactly made the 670 produce near 5 hp in a 67 cc platform?
I am currently running a 670W with a 266 jug and Im not impressed. I couldn't find a good 670 cylinder so thats what I built. Would it be beneficial to jump up to a 268xp jug? reason I ask is cause this 266 jug I running has a new oem piston in it and would like to keep the same bore size, otherwise I would just put a 272xp jug on her and call it a day, which I have done that with another 670 I once had.
