hi, new to site and have a few questions. I have a jonsereds 805 with no spark what is point gap how do you check the coil and is there anything else to look at. the wire from the mag to the coil seems to be grounding itself all the time and I dont see any bare spots, help!!!

As far as i know (and I think I do), there never was a Jred 805.

but take a look at the Jreds listed at the following link and try to identify your saw. You may also get help in the ID prosess from members here if you post a description and/or pictures of the saw.

Sorry, but I can't comment on your lacking spark, as I don't know squat about such things - provided your plug and connections are OK.
