Thanks, Brian

Nice saw...my 920 is very torquey. They can be a challenge to find parts for, but as already stated, a little patience with ebay. Looks like you could use a set of felling spikes as well. They're nice saws for noodling, although a compression release would be nice. The 920's are almost impossible to find air filters for. Looks like kyle.kipple has you covered as far as parts.

The air filter is the same as the 670/630 and Husky 266/272 etc. The top and filter covers are harder to come by. Only the 930/830 will work, and they are easy to crack where the filter cover studs are. 920/820 will work but you also need their filter which is also hard to come by (and some other pieces too). On the bright side, the saw is worth the wait for the parts. The 930 is my favorite of the 9xx/8xx family and I like it better than the 288XP, some may disagree on that though..............

Shares some parts with the 910, 920, 810, 820, and 830 I think. Taplinhill, spike60, and cantdog are my jred go to guys. That thing is a torque monster I bet.
Parts come up once a month on ebay if you look hard and hold out.

Not a lot with the 910, but otherwise you are right.

is there a way to scab a 2 part husky ignition into a 910 that bears the goofy /spark plug boot/trigger unit ?

I have no idea - but Husky or Partner had nothing to do with the design of the 910, unlike the 920 and 930.

The work on developing a 100cc version was stopped though, and the P100 Super was rebranded as the Jonsereds 1020 in its place. It was Husky that "called the cards" between those 3 brands at that time, on behalv of Electrolux. The rest of the story is long and complicated....
