Jonsered Problem

I have a 490 that will start and run only with full throttle, if you let off the throttle the saw will not idle. I rebuilt the carb, re-plumbed the fuel line and impluse line, and replaced the fuel filter. And still have this problem.

Did you check the large rubber that serves as intake flange between cylinder and plastic flange and also the small rubber that serve for impulse if not broken.If its ok ,then remove muffler and check condtion of the piston and ring,could be seized or else.

have you tested crank seals and checked flywheel key. checked any rubber manifolds?
