Like mine just fine.Been running it stock, 20 inch bar and 8 pin sprocket. This saw definitely has some grunt behind it.
Currently has about 15 +/- cord and maybe 8000 bd ft of white oak and hickory on it.
The 441C Mtronic do take some time to break in. I received mine brand new as a demo unit from Stihl, took it's cherry in some nice ash so to speak. Liked it so much I bought it. (Substantial discount of course, after all it was a used saw) It was strong out of the box, but keeps getting stronger as you go. I think it plateaued between 3 and 5 cord and then took off again.
Don't have much felling time on it right now, as I said maybe 8K bd ft, but it certainly has the snot for it.
As to bar length, I'd stick to 20 inch and just throw a 28 inch on if needed from time to time as required. Unless you're in 3 foot dia. wood all the time that long bar is a waste. If I really need a bar that big I just grab the PS7900 and go at it. One other thing, if you do want to run a 28 inch bar, you'll need to swap out the oil pump for a MS460 high output pump. Even with a 20 inch bar I made Stihl install one before I would buy the saw.
I know you'll enjoy that saw.
