Months of patience and persistence have finally paid off. A site opened up for firewood cutting about 25 minutes from my house!
It's only an acre in size (the entire unit is about 100+ acres) so we'll see how much wood is there. I was going to venture up there and check it out but there is active logging going on now and I didn't have a cb radio.
Will post pics when I get up there.
