Kiln dried firewood

I produce kiln dried firewood in norther vermont. I am having a very hard time buying logs to cut and split into firewood, because of the price and demand for pulpwood in the paper industry. I was just asking to see if this is the case in other parts on the country or just in the northeast. Lynn
