Ladder truck for tree work

Hello, looking to get some thoughts on using a ladder/fire truck for those hard to reach trees. Ive been in the business for two years now and have been using my 55’ bucket/chip truck to service my area. Occasionally I get a tree where my truck just cant do the job. A tree company in my county is selling a 1986 fire truck with a 100’ extendable ladder. The truck looks to be in near mint condition for $8k. What do you all think about using the ladder truck for those hard to reach trees?

Depends. If it has top side controls id go for it. Just get it inspected by someone who knows ladder trucks, make sure its sound.
