lauson chainsaw

i have an old lauson chain saw that i am trying to find some information on and i am not have too much luck. i am not sure how old it is. i could only find one tag on it and that was on teh engine block and it reads ont eh first line t-1418a and on the second line it reads 4949201. if you can find out anything on it please let me know. thanks

Sorry My dad had Lauson engines in cement mixers in the 50’s I was wondering what it looked like(chainsaw).

It wouldn't be a Lauson, it would be a Power Products engine in some kind generic variant. Lauson made the carburetors for them.
