Let's Discuss Mulberry

You ain't a kidding, I thought oak was heavy. That mulberry has twice the weight of ash it seems. I wasn't happy moving the next day after a truck load and a half.

those are on my property line and are full of fence wire. i have been bugging the highway dept to push them over as they are dying and pose a hazard to traffic but not luck.

I am lucky and have a old Cat 941B track loader and just take care of things like that with out asking the state or county.

it is rather light when seasoned. Produces excellent heat. Like I said be for I'll take any I can get

I split about a dozen rounds from the mulberry that I ordered and received two months ago from a logger (see above Pics). It was easy to split and still heavy and hard as nails -- not light by any means. I'm stacking it, and I know that my customers will really like burning it this fall (and, of course, so will I).
