Light 04 bar vs es light

What is the real cutting difference between the bars. Looking. To get a 20” bar in one of these 2. I know the es light is a yellow stamp bar. And the light 04 is a green. Is there a big cutting performance in the es light. Both will be running the yellow dot 33rs72 chain.

ES light is a commercial quality bar with replaceable tip, light 04 is not. As far as a difference in how they cut, probably not noticeable.

Was mainly trying to see if the light es was worth the extra money. And how much extra dangerous it would be being a yellow dot bar. I’m only a home owner style user but have always used a yellow dot chain on my saw 0290 with a 20” bar.

One isn’t any more dangerous than the other really. The ES light bar has a larger roller tip which makes it slightly more prone to kickback than the light 04 bar. If your an experienced saw user I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

The light 04 appears to be a el cheapo laminated bar and the ES light is a solid pro quality bar.

If you have to ask, buy the cheaper one.
