We have about 10 at work and i have one personally and they've all been dead reliable.

I have heard about the carb problems but never saw any.

In the real world outside AS not everyone needs a back pack blower, just like not everyone needs a ported 90cc saw.

Works ng on that too but I have neighbors that won't allow me also

We have some bg86's at work and they are weak, they cannot be made toclean up at full throttle, they just sit there and gurgle no matter what. There are a bunch of clapped out bg85's that start and run better, even while making loads of crank-bearing noise.

At least 6 yo and the other is maybe 5.used them as leaf vacs too.the housings are getting cracked pretty bad.
If i could find some original Tanaka's from japan i would just change out and sell these two.
