limiter caps late model 200t

I bought a 200t and would like to run it without the spark arrestor. Want to richen the high screw because it sounds too lean at richest setting with limiter. (don't have any four stroking at all) How can I work around this? I think I may have actually slipped the screw in the splines by turning fairly hard counter clockwise. Decided to ask here before making mistakes:msp_unsure:

Pulling those caps can be a pita. I usually take a pocket knife, or a utility blade and trim the tap with the carb on the saw still. Pretty easy to do and it sounds like you need to do it soon. Good call on screen removal.
