looking for a used Skid Steer

I've got an 863 I might be seling. It's a 98 or 99, has 1330 hours, just did an entire maintenance on it, has new muffler, tooth bucket, needs tires soon. $15,000. Nice machine, has factory am/fm radio.
 
Ideal Skid Steer

Hello Eagle1. I have used various skid steers and so far the BEST is JCB. They are much easier to work on than Bobcats (the hardest to work on). The best part is the left side entry (like a car). You don't have to climb over/under the load if you need to get out. Much Safer.

You are in the part of the country where JCB is more plentiful. A Robot 185 or 165 would serve you very well but there are larger sizes. If you can't find a JCB; Thomas, Case or New Hollands are the easiest to maintain and work on and replacement parts are less expensive since they are not proprietary.

A 5 year old JCB in good shape should run you about $12k. Good Luck.
