I have a 32" and a 42" bar for one of my saws and am looking for bar covers with not much luck. I'm relativley new to bars this long and don't know if covers are available or not. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hello Junkfxr
Stihl make a bar scabbard and a scabbard extension what will cover bars up to 90cm/35".

Regards

Phil

Just for me, I use old fire hoses from different dia hose and use same to store all my different spare bars when not in use.

I buy the husky bar guards cut one end off and glue two of them together. I am making some out of 1/4" plywood for my big cannon bars. They are just to wide for the husky covers.

My Dad and I made sewn, heavy canvas bar covers for our big saws in the late 60's and 70's. They worked great, won't ever slide off and you could roll them up and put them in your pack while you're working.
