surely not - japanese quality is generally equal with german... It's a good thing!

USA made Stihl bar will do that

Stihl is a global company with parts that are sourced from all over the world. Its nice to see Stihl making some of their parts in Japan. The Japanese make good stuff. As long as I dont start seeing a lot of Stihl parts saying, "Made In China" on them, Im good.

Agreed with regard to the Global Knives.

As a knife nut with KAD, Global knives are low on the pecking order as far as high quality Japanese knives go.
