So I ran a thread lamenting my purchase of a Haddon Lumbermaker and said I was going to make one similar to the one shown in the Chainsaw Milling book.
Here is my version.
I used 1/4" x 4" bar stock 1 foot long,
1/2" threaded rod with washers and nuts (adjustable to wider widths),
1/2" ID pipe (cut to the exact width of my 2"x4" guide board),
3 point mount is very stable and gives a good handle in the center),
local shop guy fixed me up with a used pro bar (16") and a couple of chains,
and 7/16" bolts on the bar.
This is it mounted to my Stihl 041>
Two things left to do, paint it and use it.
