Makita 7901 Husqvarna 281 comparison ?

Hi all haven't been around in a while. I sure could use some advice though I am looking for a comparison between the Makita 7901 and the Husqvarna 281 or the 288 from someone who has run both. I have the 7901 but was wondering if the Husky would be more my speed I love saws with lots of torque and have mostly run Husky and the 7901 feels a little different.

Whose top end do you have on your 7901? Your signature says "aftermarket" only.

I haven't run those Husqvarna models side-by-side with my 7900, but I did run a nice 181, and at 20" did not see much difference in white oak. I would suspect that the 288, being somewhat stronger, would probably show its edge at 28-32" bar lengths buried in hardwood.

Kit is unknown manufacturer come in a white cardboard box possible nwp but not sure got off ebay not sure if I can mention seller name

Ok, so odds are it makes slightly less power than an OEM 7900.
